A Summer To Remember!

We have had a wonderful Summer so far! David and I have been to Los Angeles, he studying with Paul Salamunovich, and I had the privilage of spending time with his lovely wife, Dottie. We have been going to LA for several years, what a wonderful couple! David spends time with Paul as they work through music and talk about vocal and choral techniques.

She and I spend time sipping on tea, talking laughing and enjoying our time together. She has wonderful stories to tell of their life together. It is an honor to listen to someone who has been married for over 60 years to a musician, I have learned and gleamed treasures from our time shared. She has been such an inspiration to me! We have grown to love and appreciate both of them dearly!

After We left Los Angeles, we drove to San Diego and spent a week on the Bay, it was great going back to where we lived before we moved to Texas! San Diego blue skies are breathtaking! We spent the week enjoying the beach and natural beauty! What a relaxing time we enjoyed together after another year of music seminar's and choral clinics!

This is our 25th wedding anniversary year! We decided in July we are going to celebrate by taking a 25 day vacation to our favorite places out West! God has blessed our family through some very difficult times and also wonderful times. I am thankful for His Grace He has bestowed upon our family. Marriage can be a challenge and at the same time it can be a beautiful journey to a better understanding of God's love. We have had both good times and bad, like all couples do, but our faith and strength have been anchored in His arms.

We both are looking forward to a wonderful time together this summer! We will have time to reminisce from the time God has granted us together for the past 25 years.

A Time To Remember

God has remembered His promise to always be with us no matter what. He has also given us a special treasure we can cherish from week to week. It's one of the best kept secrets that should be shouted from the mountain tops! Sabbath, yes Sabbath! Many people have a misunderstanding about this special day. Some believe it is only a Jewish Day but according to God, it was given to all mankind from the beginning of creation! Genesis 1:1; 2:2, 3 It's a gift for man to rest in Him.

God is the Creator and He know's His creation needs a break from the stress's of every day. This gift, the Sabbath, was established throughout eternity and even God rests on the 7th day.
To me, when I think of the Sabbath, it's a day when I can reconnect and give all praise and
glory to Him that deserves my undivided attention. We must remember who created us and why we were created.

So next time you need a rest, not just any day, but the day God called the Sabbath, the 7th day, and want to receive a special blessing for the week, turn your eyes on His word, search scripture for yourself and find the hidden treasures, that appear as pure gold to those who search and find. Such peace that passes understanding is waiting for you to experience.

Amazing Love

Our black lab, Bear is such an blessing to our family. She gives us so much love, happiness and is a a blessing.

Little things in life are what matter. God said be faithful in little things and I will make you great in big things. When I watch Bear, she reminds me so much of how God loves us, no matter what. She enjoys a peaceful and quiet life.

To me she is an amazing friend. She radiates sunshine and is faithful to the end. I have learned a deeper understanding of compassion, loyalty and patience. Her eyes are precious. Taking time to enjoy our friendly little companion makes each day a joy!

Remember, as life gets complicated,
take time to embrase the small yet significant things in your life;
you will treasure the moments you did.

A Priceless Treasure!

My life dream and passion has always been to be a wife and stay at home mom. I can give all praise and thanks to God, for allowing me to live my life passion! I was put on this earth not only to be a wife and mother, but to be David's wife and Donielle and Devin's mother.

23 years of countless memories with my husband David an amazing Musician and Founder of the Brazos Chamber Orchestra, a compassionate father and our adult children Donielle and Devin. We have enjoyed our black lab, Bearsy for the past six years! She has given us great joy.

My passion, as a wife and mother is not only to give love and support to my family, but also making sure they experience, happiness, peace within their soul and a personal relationship with Jesus.

I believe the home is what makes the heart-beat of our society. Our world need Moms to invest in our children, spending quality time with them, day after day. Their physical, spiritual and emotional well being, is vital so one day our children will become passionate adults about their mission and existance on this earth.

Each home across America, or around the world is like a building block. It takes one block at a time, to create a solid foundation! A society with children who have been loved and cherished will only grow stronger and stronger. Families that strengthen its own, will strengthen all of society. As we devote time, love and patience in each home, we are giving the world the best of what God has given us; our children.

Being a mom is more than a chapter in my life, for me, it a never-ending passion, my heart's calling. One day, when I stand before my heavenly father in heaven, I long to hear him say "well done your reward is with you".
